Salesforce CPQ Implementation
Steelbrick through Revenue Cloud, from discovery to go-live
Salesforce CPQ implementation is catalog, pricing, approvals, and Quote Line Editor work that sales will actually use. We implement or restart Salesforce CPQ and Revenue Cloud programs, including Apex and QCP only where a native rule cannot hold.
Salesforce CPQ implementation services cover product bundles, price books, price rules, product rules, approvals, quote templates, Quote Line Editor performance, and CRM-to-order handoff. CPQ Consultant leads discovery, architecture, configuration, UAT, and stabilization on Steelbrick CPQ and Revenue Cloud.
Key Benefits
Native first
Configuration before Apex, so upgrades stay possible
QLE performance
Large quotes stay usable for sales

We say which path the org is actually on
Deal-desk UAT
Exceptions are tested, not only happy-path SKUs

Engagement path
- 1
Quote archaeology
Read real quotes, including the exceptions. Salesforce CPQ implementations fail when the model is built from a demo catalog instead of the deals sales already closes.
- 2
Catalog and pricing architecture
Bundles, options, features, price books, and the waterfall. We decide what is a product rule versus a price rule before anyone opens Setup.
- 3
Build in the org sales will use
Configure native objects first. Add Apex, QCP, or Lightning only when the Quote Line Editor or pricing engine cannot express the rule.
- 4
UAT and launch
Deal desk, sales, and finance run their own scenarios. Then we stabilize Quote Line Editor performance and permission issues after go-live.
What We Deliver
Comprehensive solutions tailored to your specific CPQ needs
Product catalog and bundles
Options, features, and product rules that match how sales already sells, including the ugly exceptions.
Price books and price rules
List, cost, block, percent-of-total, and subscription methods wired to a pricing waterfall you can explain.
Quote Line Editor performance
Find the scripts and nested calculations that freeze large quotes, then remove or rewrite them.
Approvals and deal desk
Discount, product-mix, and term approvals that move without becoming a second email process.
Apex and QCP only when needed
Custom CPQ development stays documented and upgrade-safe. We will argue against code that is really a missing product rule.
Sales and admin training
Role-based training on your org, not a generic Salesforce CPQ tutorial.
Common questions
How long does a Salesforce CPQ implementation take?
A focused catalog and pricing rollout can land in 8 to 12 weeks. Revenue Cloud migrations, large bundles, and dirty product data take longer. We will not copy a vendor timeline onto a messy org.
Do you implement Revenue Cloud or only legacy Salesforce CPQ?
Both. Many programs are still on Steelbrick CPQ and need it stabilized. Others are moving to Revenue Cloud and need the quoting model remapped, not copied field for field.
What is included in Salesforce CPQ implementation services?
Discovery, catalog design, pricing and product rules, approvals, quote documents, integration to billing or ERP if required, UAT, training, and post-go-live support. License procurement stays with Salesforce.
